About this service

Bluezone Care recognises the unique challenges faced by individuals living with sensory impairments such as vision or hearing loss. Our service is designed to provide specialised support and assistance that enhances independence, improves quality of life and promotes overall well-being.

Our Care Experts are trained in adapted communication techniques, assistive devices, environmental modifications and sensitivity to sensory challenges. We provide personalised care plans that cater to the unique requirements of individuals with sensory impairments.

Day-to-day support includes activities of daily living, communication support, orientation and mobility training, sensory stimulation activities and the coordination of medical services. We use alternative communication methods such as sign language, tactile cues and visual aids to ensure understanding and connection.

We collaborate with vision and hearing specialists, occupational therapists and community resources to deliver holistic care that addresses physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

"We focus on creating an accessible, sensory-friendly environment that promotes comfort, safety and engagement — empowering individuals to navigate daily life with confidence and autonomy."
Bridget, Sensory Adaptations Specialist
