Service
Spinal Injury Care
Specialist support for life after spinal cord injury.
About this service
Bluezone Care specialises in providing comprehensive and specialised care for individuals who have experienced a spinal cord injury (SCI). Our service addresses the unique challenges and complexities associated with SCI — ensuring each person receives personalised, compassionate and high-quality care.
Our Care Experts undergo specialised training in SCI rehabilitation, mobility assistance, wound care, bowel and bladder management, respiratory support and assistive technology. We deliver individualised care plans that address the goals and clinical needs of each individual.
Day-to-day support includes physical therapy exercise reinforcement, mobility training, range-of-motion exercises, skin and pressure-area care, bowel and bladder management, respiratory support, medication management and emotional counselling — alongside support with activities of daily living and adaptive equipment use.
We collaborate closely with rehabilitation specialists, physiatrists, therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to care. We also support families during the transition from hospital to home.
"Our caregivers focus on empowering individuals to regain skills, adapt to challenges and achieve their personal goals — respecting autonomy and preferences at every step."
