About this service

Supported living at Bluezone Care is a person-centred service aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently in their own homes or within a community setting. Our approach emphasises choice, autonomy and inclusion — making sure each person receives the support they need to lead a fulfilling life.

We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and complex needs. Our philosophy is to embrace each day with positivity and to celebrate every achievement — no matter how big or small. Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience both the everyday joys and the exceptional milestones life has to offer.

Our supported living services and accommodations are designed to provide a safe, familiar and empowering environment. We offer bespoke support plans that help each individual live as independently as possible while always feeling valued and respected. Settings range from individual apartments and houses to shared accommodations, so each person can choose what suits their lifestyle.

Our skilled support workers help develop essential life skills — cooking, cleaning, budgeting and managing finances — and actively support people to access local resources, take part in community activities and build meaningful social connections. The team can also assist with healthcare needs including managing appointments and medication, with robust on-call systems and emergency support providing reassurance to individuals and their families at all times.

We support people across a wide spectrum of needs: learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour. Through person-centred planning, family involvement and a focus on strengths, we help each person achieve their unique potential — building confidence, creating opportunities and combating isolation through practical, emotional and social support.

"Our supported living service is all about recognising and respecting each person's right to make decisions about their own lives. We co-create a plan that reflects their goals, preferences and aspirations."
Anna, Supported Living Lead
